we aim to bring your dream to life. Vaishali Sankaran, the founder of Rouge will work closely with you,
every step of the way from planning to performance.

VAISHALI SANKARAN
Vaishali Sankaran, founder and CEO of Rouge is a teenager from Houston, Texas, who has been learning and performing Bharatanatyam since the age of three.
Growing up watching her mother and aunts perform extensively as well as practicing the art form herself she has gained a deep knowledge and appreciation for Indian classical dance.
Vaishali created Rouge as a space for dancers and parents to come together and share the excitement of what can be an overwhelming task of supporting the dance studio and bringing to life an Arangetram that is tailor made to their individual needs.
She understands the immense pressure that comes with dance practises along with demands of school and teen life. Since time is precious, Rouge can help you strike a perfect balance.
PRIYA SANKARAN
Priya Sankaran is Rouge’s in-house expert advisor. Priya is proficient in three forms of Indian classical dance – Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kathakali. She has performed globally and helped organize multiple dance events across three continents over the last 30 years.
She has been a student, a dancer and is a mother. She brings her insights into details of putting together an Arangetram whilst being tuned into every concern parents have while planning.
NEETHU SOMARAJAN
Neethu Somarajan, our panelist, is an accomplished Indian classical dancer skilled in three forms of dance - Bharatanatyam, Mohiniattam and Kathakali. She has received many awards and widely recognized for her multi-faceted work.
She started her training at the age of four and has performed at many venues. Neethu resides in New Delhi and is a teacher at the renowned Mothers International School.
